6 Months

19 pound of cuteness. Ian is eating foods, sitting up (supported), rolls from front to back, almost rolls from back to front, he loves his toys and can be easily distracted. He is only waking up once a night (at 2 on the nose) and he laughs a lot more. What a fun kid.

Lovin the highchair

Ian is eating cereal, peas, carrots and pear. He will have no problem in the food department. He has the genes to like food a little too much.

Chariot Trial Run

It was very cold on Ians first ride but he didn't seem to mind. Wait until we get the skis.

New Year 2007

Hil and Justin came for a few days...we went skiing and had some fun. Hils Justin jacket was the highlight of the party. I need an Andy jacket now. Justin is back to NC for awhile and Hil is ...who knows for sure but I know I'll see her soon.

Christmas in San Fransico

We went to SF for the Christmas break. We flew out the Saturday before Christmas expecting a little trouble with a newborn on a flight. It was hard. Ian cried pretty much the whole way there and back. However we made it and stayed right in Union Square at the Sir Frances Duke thanks to awesome cousin Kim for the hook up. Our rooms were fabulous..nanny and poppa and the Boise Porters came too. We spent time at Alcatraz, chili night at Kims house, Xmas morning at Auntie Sues, Prime Rib and Crab at Michael's, awesome walks all over...to Golden Gate Park, to Coit tower, all over Union Square...Thai food, Italian food, homecooked food, pizza.....Andy and Poppa took an awesome bike ride through Sasalito and over the SF Bridge....We had so much fun. It was a very merry Christmas and a memorable one for Ians first Christmas....

Parrots of Telegraph Hill

Andy took some great photos of the parrots that live on Telegraph Hill in San Fran. We hiked up to Coit Tower and there they all were. Really interesting to see....

Alcatraz

We went to Alcatraz with Auntie Susan as our leader and organizer. She has been Ranger Sue for the Park Service in SanFran and lined up a personal tour of Alcatraz Island. We got a real special deal...a trip up the lighthouse. We were very appreciative of the whole experience. Ian and I didn't climb all the way to the top...It was pretty scary anyway. We spent the most of one day here and had a great time. More pictures follow

5 Months Old

Ian turned 5 months the other day. He is so much fun. He loves to smile, he is the biggest flirt. He really is grabbing at his toys with more precision. Everything in his mouth. He loves his taggie books, his lion Geoffrey and his crinkle bee. This picture features his Dads favorite shirt. Auntie Joni gave it to us. Ian weighs 18 pounds now. Grandma Janette brought over Andys baby book and we found out that Daddy weighed 20 pounds at 6 months so we know where it came from. Ian has started to eat rice cereal and peas so far. Not suprisingly he loves his food.
