Icy Weather...Snow in the mountains

The weather has been crazy...our driveway is/was 3 inches or so of pure ice. Totally hazardous. It has been raining for 2 days and we had to get to the snow. The air has been awful too. Red air for a week or so. Ian did great on our ski today...we went to beaver creek and saw very few people. The dogs came along too. Wet heavy snow but very nice to ski in :)

18 Months Old

Ian had his 18 month check up today...we went a little early because he has pink eye. Day care had an outbreak. I thought we had avoided it but I guess not. Other than that he is doing great. He weighs 27 pounds (72%) he is 34.5 inches (96%) and his head is still in the 99%. Apparently he has had a large growth spurt...he is quite tall all of the sudden. He says many words, runs around, climbs to crazy scary heights and has many bumps and bruises to prove his stage in life. We have to keep all stools up...he can climb a stool and be standing on top in seconds flat. He likes to do jazz hands while on top. Who can blame him. Again all the cliche stuff....he is the best thing to ever happen to us.

Trip to Boise

Ian had his longest road trip over the MLK holiday...Nanny, Poppa, Mommy and Ian drove to Boise to stay with Michele, Travis and Julia....Julia turned 7 while we were in town. I didn't take very many pictures...these are of the guinea pig (sammy) and the cousins. Ian was not sure of the pigs...They are quite cute I must admit.

New Years Day

Kate and Will

Elliott and Ian chilled together

Leslie, Maya, Elliott, Kate, and Will drove up from SLC to spend the New Years with us. They just left and Ian has been sleeping 2 1/2 hours and counting!!! Ian loved having his buddies for the night. They partied it up....all children sleeping by 9:00 made the parents happy and drunker...Must do a repeat in the years to come....
