Cherries are Good

Our cherry tree is massive and it is packed with the tasty gems. I think it is our best producing year...thanks rain! (go away birds!)

Making fruit leather and dehydrating some....freezing some, eating lots, sharing if I can beat the birds.

Nothing moves like the weather at Bear Lake. Awesome....if you don't like the weather wait 10 minutes and you will.....

Bear Lake Rules

We spent 5 days at the lake landscaping. We had this awesome tractor to do the work. We built a new retaining wall and steps. No more falling off the firepit (maybe it was the alcohol). At any rate...come see our fine work!

Red Butte Gardens

Leslie and I went to a RedButte concert. Tristin had some tickets (thanks girl) and we just missed the rainstorm. It was chilly for sure! We ran into some old friends, drank some vino, danced and took in the awesomeness of babysitters.

Playtime with Julia

We got to spend a few days with Julia while Travis was in Chicago. Plenty of spoiling at Nanny and Poppas.

Triumph TR4...

Ian really really really likes to sit in cars. But when he caught a glimpse of poppas prize Triumph his eyes lit up. He may have sat in it for a minute or 10. I think at one point Julia joined him. A few hours later when we were having dinner on the patio with Leslie and kids the Triumph rolled out of the garage and hit Leslies car. OOPS!

Walk in the Gully

Getting ready for a walk

Exploring away. Ian tried to keep up with Julia but she was way too quick.

If you look close you can see Julia scrambling up the mountain...
Nanny and Ian

Too tired...carry me mommy (and Nanny)

Despite the rain we managed to make a few trips down the gully (parleys gulch). I grew up loving this park and now Ian and Julia can too.
