Solid!
What to do about that funny beam
About the only suprise we found during the demo had to do with how the roof is supported on the west side. The roof seems to be supported by a beam that transfered the weight of the roof to a header above a window. The weight was then transfered to either side of the window and down to the floor. With the help of a temporary beam (two 2x6) the window opening was converted to the right size for a new five foot sliding door.
While I worked on framing in the new door opening Bryan hung the old kitchen cabinets in the garage. Bryan came up with a great layout and reorganized much of the garage in the process. Thanks for your help Bryan!

Owl Friends
For the last two years we have had some owl friends living in our trees. Every evening they start hooting to each other right as the sun is beginning to set. It is cool...maybe not for some but I like close owl encounters.

USU Modeling Gig
Since Andy is the marketing guy for the bookstore Ian was the model. After 200 something pics and a few outfit changes he was pretty beat. Very professional though. Cutest baby aggie ever!
8 Months Old
Ian is sitting up, has higher volume and two teeth appeared (can bite!)
He is loving daycare..he is very popular there. We are enjoying getting on our bikes now that the weather has improved (besides the april snowstorm). He is such a gem....
