Friday the 13th

First look at Lady Lake I Love. These roads lead to some super splendid memories. Love Fish Haven

Took the cool kids up to hang out at the trailer while I cleaned mouse shit and sprayed the vicious thistle and other prickles. Looks nice and ready for another great one.

June 12th

Our new neighborhood keeps on giving. Been checking it all out..... Ian on his bike and Ollie in the chariot makes for speedy exploring.

Today adventure...rode to Logan River Trail and walked the train tracks, threw some rocks, dipped our toes, took a pee (ollie) and took some selfies. At first I was not happy with the major tree hack along the river and trail....but they have made amazing things, so clean and nice and safe for exploring. A dog park addition is super nice. Love it here!

Skate or Die!

Ian wanted a skateboard, decided to support our local skate shop (2 blocks away)...good move on my part. Saw the dude that hooked us up at the skatepark (5 blocks away), he said Ian was good. I think Ian is darling!

Olivers Four

Oliver has turned 4. Quickly. He is super tall, he weighs 40 pounds and is a ball of fun. He likes to test all things NO and get away with as much as possible. " Im really really sorry I did that" "I so so sorry" are very common phrases. He told Nanny she was messing with his patience as he was concentrating.

He doesn't like getting squirt even if he squirted the crap out of you, he has no interest in swimming lessons, tomatos are not good, he'd rather ride his bike but no biggie if he has to chill in the chariot as we go about town.

He loves water and sand and diggin dirt. Of course Frozen and Lego movie one hundred times each. Video games...really watching Ian play them. Doing whatever Ian is doing is most likely where you will find Oliver. He loves his Ian..."wheres my Ian mom"

He is rocking the bike, still got his trainers because he is not that into going fast, this is good! He does like to jump off things and play outside for hours and he is interested in playing on his own.

We spend the weekend at Nanny and Poppas. Gay Pride Parade...go Utah Pride 2014. "Go Gays" as aunt Susan would say. The Annual Garlic Burger party. All the regulars in attendance. We also spent time with the Evans kids, went out to a show at The State Room, took a long trax ride (to Daybreak and back), played at Sugarhouse Park, had a little cake and singing with Nan and Pops.....The next day we had a backyard celebration with all the local peeps with love! Best night in our shady yard with the ones we love, had some BBQ drumstick, mac and cheese and some sides....drink too, it's summer!

2nd Annual Ogden Music Fest

I think since its summer, I will write a little. More time, more fun, more funnies and such.

The Festival

Andy and Peter did the early jaunt to set up a killer space in the most awesome unsuspecting place. Ogdens Fort Buenaventura Park located between the train tracks (heard em all night, did they only go at night?) and I-15. But a river runs through it, sweetest tent spots with lush grass, a little canoe pond (Ryan Rules) tons of shade and an excellent time.

Nice spot saved up front for the music, or dance if you prefer. Hula with Hilary, dance with the ladies, chill on the blanket, ham it up with Nanny and Poppa.

The absolute kid freedom is like no other. I'm not sure I really spoke with Ian the whole event, other than a change of clothes, some food and a "Mom, Im ready for bed." Kids played BS (a.k.a. boy scouts, bull shit) on an air mattress with a slow leak for many solid hours. Checked out the musical petting zoo with loads of instruments to jam. I loved seeing the independence of these kids this weekend. Just a pack of em cruizing around, looking chill and not one mention of technology...seriously!

The gang....Lisa Peter Maya Isacc Olivia Andy Stacie Ian Oliver Leslie Ryan Maya Elliott Sarah Ali Ava Andre Kate Bill Will Quinn Nanny Poppa Hilary Vicki Brad Jay....27 peeps (a few not pictured)

See ya next year
