How Andy spent much of his time...reading in the window spot of our lovely hospital room. It really was very nice...mountain views, waited on by the great nurses, raining days outside made for a great hospital visit

Ian meeting Oliver for the first time. Talk about awesome, he was interested in his "little tiny toes". Ian has been great, so gentle asking about "his baby" all the time, whispering its okay baby when he cries and just being very calm and helpful. Ian is the best big brother!

Nanny has been the best ever. She took shifts with Andy either watching Ian or helping me at the hospital. She is staying with us for two weeks and has done everything, and I mean everything(see below) to make us all comfortable and be able to relax. Thanks to Nanny. Thanks isn't enough!

Coming home! Poppa and Aunt Susan came for a day to visit. Poppa did a great job holding the baby. Even if he was a little scared. He is the best Poppa ever!

One of the first few open eye shots. This little one is sleepy. He is very mellow so far and already is adjusting to a little schedule of his own. One that works for us, we are sleeping and eating well.


Huh?

June 9th at 8:00am Oliver joined our family. Weighing in at 8.5 pounds, 20.5 inches long and fully crying on his way out. He is super healthy and happy. We are getting to know him and loving every inch of him. His hair is of auburn nature and doesn't look too much like Ian. Ian is very interested in him and not too jealous yet. Nanny has been here the whole time and has helped an incredible amount. From cooking gourmet meals (every meal), doing dishes, cleaning the house, doing the laundry, completely entertaining Ian, doing yardwork, helping with the baby...you name it she has it covered. I do not know what we would do without her, seriously incredible. Everyone needs a Nanny.
